Both my children have been at playful penguins since they were 1 and I wouldn't choose anyone else to look after them. It's a real home from home environment where the amazing team nurture, educate and develop the children. The thing that sets them apart from other nurseries is that they regularly get out and about rather than being stuck in one place everyday. I don't know any other nurseries that regularly give their children such freedom to explore, learn and have so much fun. Trips to the zoo, park, nature walks, feeding the animals at the farm, climbing trees are just a normal day at playful.

Playful Penguins offers the ideal setting first for our son and now for our daughter. The setting uniquely offers the middle-ground between a nursery and standard childminder setting, which no other provider in the community does.
For our son, a nursery setting was too big and overwhelmed him, but as parents we were not comfortable with sending him to a childminder setting with just one adult. What we wanted was a small family-style setting like a childminder, but not to have the co-raising of our son to rest with one adult. We never thought we would find somewhere like Penguins, that would offer the home from home experience for our son, with the variety of caring- and teaching-styles that having four carers bring. It is the most loving and supporting environment I could have hoped for
Like most new parents, we were anxious about childcare for our son, but as soon as we met Hayley and the team we were put at ease, and what was a stressful decision became an easy one. He had no problem transitioning, and we have always felt confident that while we're at work, he is in a safe, loving and stimulating environment. Playful Penguins has become a reassuring constant in our busy working lives, and we are so grateful to the team for all their hard work and support.

My daughter attends Playful Penguins and we could not be more thrilled with the level of care she receives and the daily experiences she has whilst in their care.
When I returned to work we looked at several local nurseries, all I can say is that there is no comparison to make. Most nurseries are run as businesses who look after children, whereas Playful Penguins has no sense of this. It is run by people who thoroughly enjoy looking after children, helping them to learn, stretching them to develop and experience new things each day. The setting is something that appealed to me to as it is very much a home from home and much smaller than other local nurseries. My daughter receives the same level of care in this setting as I could give her and as a working mother I could not have hoped for more.
